If Wrodpress keeps asking for your ftp..
add the following script to the wp-config.php page
//*PreSaved FTP Credentials
define('FTP_HOST', 'your ftp host');
define('FTP_USER', 'your ftp username');
define('FTP_PASS', 'your ftp password');
If you have SSL for FTP add this line to use it
FTP Permissions: The site doesn’t turn on or you get access denied
when you change something in WordPress
There are set of default ftp permission rules for WP..
Directories (Folders): 755
.htaccess 644 (if bugs use 766)
Nothing should have 777 or your site can be hacked.
Anytime you have alot of files to upload, or a plugin..
and you want to save time?
use cPanel’s File Manager. to compress and then extract files on server.
tip: Screw Zipdeploy it doesn’t do the job even when it’s paid!
